For a limited time only, we have a whole range of memorabilia and token gifts to mark the historical event, of course, all made by British small businesses! From tea towels, keepsakes, jubilant kits and fun activity packs for the kids, there is something for everyone to celebrate and remember this royal occasion.
We commission our wonderful friend @myrodoodles to create a design for us, which you can also find on a postcard or a limited edition tote bag now available in store. Myro’s design looks to traditional emblems to celebrate and commemorate King Charles III’s Coronation by bringing together all things British Royalty. We were also sent some beautiful designs by two very talented artists when we announced the special curation on Instagram, and we had to share these too!
One of those artists was the lovely Sarah Hulme from @the.origin.of.luck. Sarah took to painting as a creative and mindful output so she really connected with the quote featured in her design. King Charles III is an advocate for mental health, and she feels a simple image of him drinking tea makes him appear so approachable and at one with the British public.
The second artist was the wonderful Ros from @batty_makes. Ros found solace in painting to help navigate mental health challenges and for her design, she looked to the fierce British lion for inspiration. Captured in her signature style, the fluid artwork is made by carefully pouring acrylic paint to create powerful whirlwinds of colour - there are reels on her page showing this in action!
